A few days ago, I discovered that my favorite crochet magazine had been discontinued. This was a good indicator of how busy I have been, because this happened several months ago and I had not realized just how long I had been patiently waiting for the next issue to arrive.
This is quite a disappointment as I really liked this magazine. They got everything right – fun projects, well-written patterns, well organized. Of course, it didn’t help that I had let my subscription to the next best crochet magazine expire at about that same time, because I didn’t think I should have two. So, lots of new patterns did not come into my house because I somehow missed this very important announcement.
Then I had a great (or possibly completely insane) idea. I now have a copy of every single issue of Crochet Today ever published. All 47 of them. This seems like a great time to take on the task of stitching every one of the projects in each of these 47 magazines. There are 1066 of them. I counted. Well, that’s based on project titles, but it’s really more as some titles are sets.
So, yeah, gigantic undertaking. Which will I run out of first? Time? Money? Sanity? The love and patience of my delightful family? I don’t know, but I’m going to find out.
