Tuesday I picked up the yarn I needed to stitch this throw:
I like the colors they picked, so I tried to duplicate them as best I could with I Love This Yarn. I ended up with 2 skeins each of Coffee, Lt. Taupe, Cream, and Sea Blue; as well as 2 skeins of Yarn Bee Haute Fur in Nightsea. After sales and coupons, I spent $40.35.
So far, I put in 5 1/2 hours and I’ve gotten this far:
I’m really enjoying this pattern. It’s a lot of fun to stitch and not too difficult once I got the hang of it. I did have to pull out a couple of rows, but I think I’ve got it now. It’s different because every row is worked on the right side. You finish each one off before you start the next, and the fringe on the ends is made as you go.
I may not get as much done on this tomorrow. It’s not the only thing I’m working on, but I wanted to get a good start on it.
