I decided that it would be a fun experiment to save all my yarn ends from the entire year.
I picked the biggest jar in my kitchen that wasn’t a mason jar, I can’t spare any of those.
Here it is at the beginning of the month, empty and ready for a year’s worth of yarn ends.
Here it is today, after just a few weeks and not very many finished projects.
I wonder, will it even hold a year’s worth of yarn ends?
The jar has been on my desk with the lid off for several weeks to eliminate the pickle smell, which now seems to be gone. Maybe I should crochet a flower to glue on the lid to make it more festive and appropriate.
Hmm, maybe next year I can use the ends to stuff an amigurumi project. That could be fun, and I’ve got a whole year to figure out which project!
