If you were looking for a Yarn Talk in March, I’m sorry to disappoint you. We did get one filmed, but it’s not quite ready to go. I have to learn a new skill, video editing, before I can post it. This is proving to take more time, energy, frustration than I expected, but I will have it ready to go later this month as the April Yarn Talk.
Now on to the stitching update. I made progress on three projects this week.
First, the Tic-Tac-Toe Throw. I completed another square, so now have two done.
I like that these aren’t done with just double crochets back and forth. There is a bit of visual interest in the squares. Well, maybe less so in the one I photographed on the wrong side. Let’s hope I do a better job when it’s time to stitch them together.
Speaking of squares, I’ve gotten through row 29 on square #2 for the Doctor Who Blanket. I’m rather pleased with the progress.
It truly astonishes me how quickly these work up. It leaves me time to work on other things, such as this just for me item.
I’ve finished 3 more rows. Only forty-one to go.
I hope everyone had a great weekend, and I’m looking forward to a week of stitching and sharing with you.
